LEE BROOM'S NEW SHOP

Lovely Lee has opened a new little area inside The Shop at Bluebird on the King's Road where his crafted wares sit alongside hightops by MM6 from Margiela and pop-graphic prints by Reilly. Here he is lookin dapper in shiny pumps surrounded by his decantery magic. Nice one Lee!

TIM WHITMORE'S FLAT

As Visual Director at Topshop Tim Whitmore comes up with the graphic language for the high street favourite as well designing the interiors of their stores.

His style at home is a little different to at work - his flat on the border of Soho and Bloomsbury is a rainbow bright ode to post-punk camp, full of S&M imagery, religious iconography, skulls and Diptyque candles.

Now he wants to sell the whole package - the flat with the furniture in it (but not the art... Mapplethorpe... Gilbert + George...), as he did with his previous two, one was a slick Hoxton loft (his 90s project) and before that a Neo-Baroque opium den in Earl's Court (his 80s home). This 2-bedroom place costs £700k... it does have really nice polished plaster walls though and sweet Mexican tiling in the kitchen, right next to the DIY collage of 80s Soho club culture and the boiler-mounted love story to ripped sailors.
